When I received sample of Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask in September Ipsy Glam Bag I was disappointed – most of hair products from subscription services don’t work for my hair. Then I took a closer look at the ingredients list. It looked encouraging – no silcones, some interesting botanicals. So I figured I’ll try it, and proceeded to forget about it. However, harsh New York winter and it’s effect on my hair jogged my memory.
The sample I received was a generous 1 fl. oz jar. I got three or four uses out of it. I used it after shampooing my hair in place of conditioner.
This mask has very light pleasant scent. It sank effortlessly into my hair, without making them greasy-feeling. It washed off just as easily. It left my hair moisturized and cut the amount of frizz to a minimum. My hair felt silky for a couple of days afterwards, and that says a lot. I liked this mask more than I expected. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the price. At $26 for a jar that out last me about a month or two, it’s a bit more expensive than I’d like.
Bottom Line: Briogeo Don’t Despair! Repair! is a good hair mask. I’ll buy full size if I find it on sale.
