My March Birchbox held no surprises – I choose Beauty Solution Box. Partially because I wanted Laura Geller blush, partially because this box contained only one product I don’t really need (dear Clarck volumizing toner), which is pretty good comparing to some of my recent boxes.
Beauty Solutions Box contained:
– Laura Geller Baked Blush -and-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit
– Supergoop! Advanced SPF 37 Anti-Aging Eye Cream
– Whish Three Whishes Body Butter in Almond
– Derma E Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Cream SPF15
– Dear Clark Volumizing Toner
As I mentioned Laura Geller blush is a big part of the reason I decided to go with this box, and so far I’m not disappointed. It gives my face natural looking pink flush and a hint of glow. It’s not full size, but blushes usually last forever. The package is on par with full size product. Half circle mirror is somewhat awkward and too small to be useful, but I’m willing to overlook this minor flaw.
I don’t really believe that eye cream can do anything about my dark circles, but I like trying the ones that promise. I figure either I’ll finally get rid of my dark circles or I’lol get an opportunity to write a bitchy review.
Derma e Day Cream and Whish Body Butter are not most exiting samples (truth be told I don’t get excited about most of skin care samples), but they are cute and will be used. Dear Clark toner was originally meant for giveaway/trade pile – my frizzy hair does not need more volume. However, someone suggested toe that it can be used to add texture to my second (as well as third and, hmm, fourth) day hair before I French-braid it.
Bottom Line: I enjoyed this month box, but I missed the surprise part.
