Birchbox February 2014

It’s here, my first Birchbox. Birthday gift from my dear friend.

I have to admit,  receiving a pretty box in the mail feels great, and, unlike many other receivers of Birchbox this month I am pretty happy with the content.

I got Beauty Protector’s Protect & Detangle, Inika’s Eyeliner in Green Lagoon, Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy perfume sample and Mox Botanicals’ Bath Milk. Lifestyle extra is three samples of Ahmad  Tea London, which is  the main source of my slight disappointment.
I was under impression that  Birchbox is about discovering new brands and products, and Ahmad Tea is a well established brand… I don’t mind the fact that it’s tea. Actually, as avid tea lover, I would be exited if it was some non-mainstream brand.

I am looking forward to trying Protect & Detangle and Inika’s Eyeliner . Although, Green Lagoon would not be my first choice color. Viva La Juicy is a bit too sweet  for my liking. Bath Milk sample is for one time use only, but for one out four it’s not too bad. Since this is my first box, I can’t really make any comparisons, but so far so good.
What about you? Are you a subscriber of Birchbox or any other services? If so, how did you like this months selection?
